09/15/05 -- Strike Industries, Inc. introduced the latest in its wireless mobile visitation stations for both analog and digital visitation systems. By providing a wireless link and integrated battery subsystem and back-up, the new mobile visitation station has become a truly wireless solution. Simply unplug the unit from the power source and roll the unit over to the inmate and visitation can begin, providing 12 hours of airtime without any external cable connections. The first unit was installed at the Naples Jail Medical Center in Collier County Florida where it is integrated with the Inmate Video Visitation System. The unit also supports inmate access by the Public Defender's Office for remote video consultation services within the same system.
